Why a fantasy league to host your fundraising campaign?
Because it is an extremely easy way for a charity organization or minor sports teams, for examples, to raise money without spending hours running raffles, selling hot dogs, hosting spaghetti diner, or road block for donations. A hockey or baseball pool is a game hosted online and up in running within a few clicks, then you can share it on social networks for easy spreading.
The donations are collected online by PoolExpert and the money raised will be distributed to the organization by cheque or electronic transfer 60 days after the pool registration deadline.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost to run a fundraising pool on PoolExpert. 100% of donations will be returned to the organization. A management fee of $5 per registration will be charged in excess of the donation to each donor wishing to register. This $5 fee covers secure payment processing and pool hosting - 100% of your donation goes to the organization.
* Note that PoolExpert will not be able to issue any payments to individuals, only to organizations. In addition, no payment will be issued if the fundraising has not reached a minimum of $250 in donations.
How can friends and family participate in my fundraiser pool?
Each donor can register to the pool and support your organization using the shareable link that will be provided after the completed form below is submitted. The administrator of the pool may also enter participants manually in case your organization would want to handle offline registration sheets as well.
Who organizes the fundraising campaign?
Fundraising campaigns are organized entirely by the charity or organization running them - PoolExpert never sets, holds, or distributes any prize. We only host the pool, process the charitable donation, and hand the collected funds to the organization. If the organization chooses to recognize a top performer with a token of appreciation, that is entirely between the organization and its own participants - PoolExpert is not involved.
